Designed with the same hole pattern and frequency response as the original studio mic (and used in our flagship WA-87 R2 mic) using a discrete signal path with ultra-low self-noise, WA-87jr delivers pristine, professional tone perfect for vocals, streaming/VO, instruments, and more.

Selectable Polar Patterns, Pad & Filter: The WA-87jr features three selectable polar patterns: cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8. Multiple patterns allow for precise control over the focus of the mic, from intimate “close” tones to capturing the natural ambiance of a room. The built-in pad and high-pass filter increase flexibility by making it easy to capture loud sources and reducing unwanted low-frequency noise.
